Can we confirm the time of the ceremony before we leave the UK?
If you have a particular time in mind we can make a note and put it as a request. The actual time is normally
confirmed when you arrive in resort. A small charge in some destinations will allow you to confirm the time of your ceremony in advance.
What will the ceremony be like?
Dependent upon the destination you will have a choice of ceremony. All the options are available from our wedding team and they will
help you choose the best for you.If you are thinking of a religious ceremony, both Church of England and Roman Catholic ceremonies are available on the island of Cyprus.
Can we plan the wedding extras for our wedding before we go?
Yes our wedding team will have details of the extras available, and they can be organised before you travel. When you arrive in resort your wedding coordinator will be on hand to go through any final details with you or make any additions to your day.
What about the Music?
This will depend on the type of ceremony you choose, please ask our wedding team who will be able to assist with any requests.
Will I be able to choose my wedding cake?
Dependent on the type of package you book or whether you have opted for a tailor-made wedding. Some wedding cakes are a standard design usually in the tradition of the country however the design may be altered upon request and there will be a selection if you have opted for a tailor-made wedding.
Are Weddings carried out abroad legal at home?
Don?t worry all the destinations we feature are legally recognised in the UK.
Can we marry abroad if one of us does not have a UK passport?
Yes, but there are exceptions. Please check with our wedding team for more details.
Will we need to complete any paperwork when we get there?
You will normally need to complete some paper work to meet the local legal requirements and carry out any necessary administration. This usually takes place at a nearby town. In some cases you may need to make your own way to the relevant office by taxi, which will be payable locally. Please leave up to a half day to complete the paperwork. The wedding co-ordinator will assist you with the arrangements when you arrive at your wedding destination.
Do we get a marriage certificate?
As some countries do not complete paperwork until one to six months after the wedding, it may not be ready for you to take home. The certificate may be sent on once the documentation has been completed. You will usually get one marriage certificate, if you would like more check with your wedding co-ordinator in resort who may arrange additional certificates at an extra cost.
Do we need to take out additional Insurance?
We recommend that you take out insurance specially designed for weddings abroad which is available at a small supplement to our recommended insurance. Ask our wedding team for further details.

What kind of passport do I need?
Whenever you leave the UK you must carry a passport with you but do please check that your passport is in date. It is a requirement of certain countries that the expiry date of your passport exceeds the return date of travel by up to 6 months. Requirements vary from country to country. You should also ensure that any children under the age of 16 who are not already included on a valid 10 year passport, have their own passport when traveling abroad.
